Kerry is the Principal/Director of Ubrella and has been in the Insurance Industry since 1997.

"I wanted to specialize in People Insurance.  I didn't want to be involved with investing clients money (I like to sleep at night), do mortgages, supply Fire and General services or any of the other associated options - we have specialized people that we can refer clients onto for those services. I wanted to excell in my chosen field, to protect my client's families and business's from any personal risk events and make sure that ample funds were available if/when disaster struck. Quite frankly, I wish I had found this business earlier. There is no other business, where we can help protect the most important assets on the planet - a family that has been impacted by a trauma event. Insurance can never stop a trauma event happening, but by reducing or removing financial pressures for a family at a time of need, is indeed humbling".

Someone once said to me about this industry: "If a client dies or suffers a trauma event you can go to them or their loved ones, with compassion, condolences and a cheque to help them financially, others can only go with their condolences or a Get Well card!" There is nothing more empowering or impacting than to help a family financially.
