OnePath Life is part of the ANZ Group - one of the largest investment, banking and insurance organisations.
In New Zealand, ANZ Group's core business is financial services, and our objective is to help clients meet their financial objectives through the accumulation, investment and protection of assets. Products and services offered include investments and savings, wholesale/institutional investment management, and life insurance.
As of November 2009, this business was changed as a joint venture owned 51% by ING Group and 49% by ANZ National Bank, to be fully owned by ANZ Group. While the new venture had the right to use the ING name for 12 months, this is due to change to the new branding of OnePath.
ANZ Group also manages all the investment and insurance products sold through the ANZ and The National Bank branch networks, and through specialist ANZ financial advisers.
The accelerated growth of the last five years has put OnePath at the top of its industry as the largest manager of retail funds in New Zealand*. OnePath also holds a leading position in the life insurance and property markets and this will be followed by the new branding and direction of OnePath.
